Frequently Asked Questions
-
Works ship from New York. Framed pieces and anything over 24 inches are crated or corner-boxed and sent freight or courier; smaller prints ship flat or rolled, insured. Shipping is quoted separately once the piece and destination are known - it is not included in the listed price. Local pickup in New York can be arranged.
-
It varies by piece and is stated in each listing. Some are framed as shown, some are supplied unframed, and a few are mounted on metal or epoxy panel and need no frame. Where a frame is included, it is the frame in the photograph.
-
These are archive pieces, not new stock. Most have been stored since production; some were exhibited or used as studio proofs and show handling - soft corners, edge wear, press marks, hand annotation. Anything beyond normal storage wear is noted in the listing. Photographs are of the actual piece.
-
Most are one of one. Where more than one exists — portfolio prints, the pigment print series — the count is given in the listing. Hand-embellished and test-print variants are unique by definition: no two were finished the same way. When a piece sells it is gone; nothing here is reprinted.
