REVISIONS emerged from Lynch’s time with the Warhol Superstars (see Warhol’s Factory series). While developing the Warhol’s Factory series, Lynch was invited to participate in a group exhibition the Superstars were organizing at the iconic Chelsea Hotel. Rather than revisiting past works, he took inspiration from Warhol’s process and delved into his own archive, seeking images to reinterpret with a fresh perspective. The result was REVISIONS—a collection that breathes new life into classic photographs, each carrying its original story while presenting a revised medium.
