NATIVE

 TO THIS LAND

A living archive of America’s first people.

Another of MISTER LYNCH’s STREET STUDIOS™—this time on the sacred grounds of Native American Pow Wows. NATIVE TO THIS LAND is a portrait series over 25 years in the making, celebrating Indigenous identity, regalia, and tradition. The latest chapter marks a historic return: the Lenape people—the original settlers of Manhatta (now Manhattan)—held their first Pow Wow on the island in over 300 years. Lynch was granted exclusive access to set up his studio in the hallowed halls of the Park Avenue Armory to document this powerful moment.
